Haya, Interment/wake (Bisaya) or to let be (Tagalog/Filipino) is a piece dedicated to echo
one community’s tradition which has the tendency to fade and to lose. Hence, a rite of passage is
depicted in the piece as a reminder of passing on the rituals and traditions of the community. The
turning point of this piece was to show a possibility of losing the young generation, the possible
people who will take care of the traditions and continue to live it. Where will the older
generation pass on these practices, will it live on?
